A Sound Mind Empty
PostSubject: A Sound Mind   A Sound Mind Icon_minitimeSat Dec 06, 2008 8:19 pm

I woke up early as the sun broke through the window once more. Please not already, I sighed to myself as I rolled over in bed. After several minutes I sighed and slowly got out of bed, it was so warm and comfortable, I didn't wanna leave it. As I got out of bed I glanced up at my desk and there it was with a small not attached. I ran over, ripped off the tag and began to read it, Use it well. I beamed down at it with a smile. I gripped down and swung my new Sheathed Katana over my shoulder and headed out of the house. I began to walk down the main street towards my usual training spot.

As I stepped out of the clan house, out onto the road I looked around with a smile, I loved having this thing on my back. It gave me a sense of power, as people walked past they would look at me more then usual, I loved every second of it. I began to walk down the street, watching the people of the village as I went. Weak fool's I thought to myself as I saw people that know my ancestor, cross the road to avoid me. Whether it was out of fear or hatred, I did not mind. I am loyal to family and friends, the rest of these fools can die for all I care. As i walked down through the tree's, I clutched the scroll from the house in my hand tightly.

After close to 30 minutes of walking, i finally came to the opening in the trees along the pathway just outside the main village. I slowly walked into the opening and looked out over the clearing that had become my sanctuary. I watched with a smile as I admired the way the light played on the dew-covered grass as the warming sun beamed down up it. I slowly walked over the edge of the small lake in the back of the circular clearing. I sat down on the rock and pulled the scroll up onto my lap, carefully unrolling it, paranoid that I was going to damage it in some way shape of form.

I looked down carefully onto the scroll, my eyes scanning back and forward over it. As I read it, well, it was more like trying to decipher it, one phrase continuously ran through my head over and over, What the fuck does that mean?. I kept going over and over the Introduction and Description to the technique, attempting to memories it. Ok, So, It forces the opponent to view me as a loved one from there past, making it impossible for them to attack most of the time. Basically all the time I guess for me, I smirked, even I knew I was cocky. After around half an hour of reading the Introduction and making sure I completely understand what it is exactly that this Genjutsu Technique does, I shifted my eyes down to the Hand-Seals.

I looked down over the scroll, focusing my eyes down upon the hand-seals, they were complex, and the most complex series I had ever seen before. I went over them in my mind, one at a time, visualizing my own movements I would need to perform. This is gona be tricky, was the final response I came up with. I then slowly put the scroll down in my lap and started practicing the Hand-Seals one at a time with my hands. On the second seal I bent my wrist back too far, Causing pain to shoot down though the bone to the nerves, causing me to curse in frustration. After a few moments of attempting to calm myself down, I went back to practicing. After a few minutes of diligent practice, I finally mastered each of the seals described in intimate detail in the scroll.

After practicing the hand-seals, I decided to give it a rest for a minute. I slid my frame slowly down the left side of the stone. I ended up sitting on the floor leaning against the stone with one leg in the water. I ended up shutting my eyes in an attempt to relax. Much to my dismay, as soon as my eyes clamped shut, all i could see was the damn scroll along with the same hand-seals going over and over again. Bah, this is hard. Oh well, I guess it’ll be worth it come exam time as I sat, rubbing my wrists gentle. After a few minutes I slowly opened my eyes and began to sit back up. I let out a deep sigh, deciding it was time to get back to work, I moved back up into the rock. I re-opened the scroll and looked down at the section about chakra control.

As my eyes scanned over and over the chakra control section I began to fell a slight tang on confidence for the first time whilst studying this Jutsu, I had always been gifted with Chakra and for me, and this looked do-able. It wasn't really that much different then the basic techniques. Fine, so all i have to do is flow my chakra through my mind and then disperse it down throughout my body, simple. I slowly stood up and walked a few steps from the rock. I closed my eyes and in mere seconds, I took control over all of my available controllable chakra and flowed it through my body up to my mind, and then back down once more, dispersing it throughout my entire body. I smirked to myself, To easy, I strolled back to the rock and sat down, staring at the lake, deep in thought.

I took a deep breath as I slowly tore my sight away from the lake, standing up slowly. As I stood I turned lightly on my left foot and start striding towards the road, looking for someone to help me with this. As I approached the road I wondered to myself, Will anyone even want to help me, I guess most of this Village is loyal to my Ancestor's. As I approached the road I smiled as I saw a young man, smaller then me. Maybe 15 years of age and 6foot tall, reasonable built wearing simply black Genin Robes with an Otogakure headband on. I smiled and called out to him, 'Oi, Genin. Come give us a hand' He looked around in surprise and smiled at me, nodding simply he followed me into the middle of the training area.

The Genin looked at me and smiled, Oddly enough he didn't speak. I guess he was either too scared or too stupid, I later realized maybe he had a disability, I think I'm meant to feel guilty from that but it didn't happen. I walked about 10 meter's away from him and then called out to him loud enough for him to hear, yet not loud enough to disturb the wild-life or any other passers-by, 'Alright, Once I call out my Jutsu name, Charge me and try to attack me.' Again, he simply nodded at me with a smile so I just smiled back and breathed deeply, Alright, here we go, if we get this right, we will pwn anyone. If we fuck this up, well then we have to kill a Genin to save Rep. Either way, it isn’t looking good for this poor kid. On this thought I gave him one more sad smile.

I slowly lowered myself down slightly, gaining better footing and a more balanced center of gravity, obviously to increase my balance. I slowly started to move my hands into seals, picturing in my mind each one as I did so, I am lucky to be gifted with memory. The first two seals were incredibly slow as I went through a very slow transition between them, scared to make a mess of it. As i started to move into the rest of the seals I began to pick up pace. But the last few seals I was going at full speed, which was incredibly fast. I had done it, I had completely mastered the hand seals, I was preparing to complete the final hand seal of the entire set and it was now time to sort out the chakra in my system and what I have to do with it to make this thing work.

I took another deep breath as far in as I could until I could literally feel my lungs expanding to there limit, I then slowly exhaled, making sure I kept my composure through this. I was on my last Hand-Seal for this overly complex sequence of Hand-Seals and it was now time to worry about what I was going to do with my chakra. I thought back to the scroll, Ohk, alright, I need to move a portion of my chakra from across my body, up through my mind and then disperse that small amount of chakra across my body as thin as I can, but make sure I am covered. Suddenly I sent a portion of chakra collected from all over my body, surging to my mind. I then sent it all surging back down to around my body as I began the final Hand-Seal.

As I sent my chakra over my skin I finally performed the final hand seal. As I did this I quickly opened my mouth and spoke loudly, so the Genin knew it was time, 'Now'. The Genin began to run at me at full pace, as he did I sent my chakra combined with the Jutsu slamming out at him, connecting with his body and molding into his mind. As soon as I completed the final seal, the Genin stopped dead in his tracks and began to call me Mother. I smirked to myself and released the Genjutsu, It had worked perfectly. I faced the kid and smiled at him, 'Thanks Mate, Leave Now.' He looked slightly shocked but did as he was told. I strolled back over to the Lake, Put the scroll back into my cloak and slid down the rock, leaning against it again, resting for the next Jutsu.

A Sound Mind Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Sound Mind   A Sound Mind Icon_minitimeSat Dec 06, 2008 8:23 pm

After several minutes of serenity, i slowly climbed back up too my feet with a sigh. Alright, you've done one. Head home and get a new one, So i slowly began the long track back to the Clan house. As i walked through the streets I became slightly depressed, Otogakure had got on so quiet as of late, it was a real shame. I sighed to myself and then began to think over what I should learn next. I needed to work on my sword combat, but I specialist in Genjutsu so I decided I should work on that. After around 15 minutes of straight walking I was getting somewhat tired, but eventually I made it home. I walked inside and up the stair's, straight into my room were I collapsed onto the bed in a heap.

After several minutes I began to stir on the bed as I head voices of people walking past my room, Fuck, I dozed out. I slowly rolled up and off the bed, surprised to see the sun was allot lower in the sky, i estimated it was around 3pm. I slowly walked over to my desk and began to look over the scrolls I had spread out. I sat down and went through each of them briefly until i came to the one I wanted, 'Jubaku Satsu'. I smiled as I scanned over the description, seals and even the chakra control. I slowly got up, pocketing the scroll as I did so. I turned and headed down the stairs nodding too two men as I passed them on the stairs. I quickly headed out the door and back out onto the streets.

As i stepped out the door I cringed slightly as the sun hit into my eyes with surprising force. I kept walking down the streets, smiling as children ran past me playing. I slowly walked through the village, letting my skin bask in the warm sun. I watched the village around me for most of the walk, but sometimes I would simply shut my eyes and enjoy the peace. Evenly I made it out of town and started down the off-road towards my training grounds. It was a slower walk due to the ground being wet, It hasn't rained today. I finally got myself to the small opening in the trees; it was just as I had left it. I smiled and walked over to my usual places on the rock in the corner. I sat down and reached down into my pouch, pulling out the scroll.

I glanced down at the scroll and said the name over and over in my had slowly, Jubaku Satsu. I read down through the scroll until I found the description of the technique, it was complicated. So, It allows me to become invisible to the enemy, then once i get close to them, a tree sprout and binds them. It stops any hand seals or movement of any kind, then I can kill them. Well I just need to use a hand seal, no eye contact required so that easy. And there’s not set range so that’s even better. I kept reading over and over it, making sure that was nothing I had missed and making sure I knew exactly what and how it worked. Avenchly I smiled to myself, happy with my grasp of the technique.

After making sure I had the descripcion of the technique memorized, I slowly sent my eyes scanning down the scroll until I finally reached the section that talking about the hand-seals. I slowly traced my eyes over this section repeatedly for close too 15 minutes. I then set about memorizing the picture of each seal; this was complicated, very complex. The seals required flexibility of the hands not possessed by many people, but I knew I would be able to do it. I avenchly decided I would practice. I slowly set the scroll down in my lap and gentle moved my hands into each seal slowly 3 times. I then went through the entire sequence as fast as I could, it worked perfectly. I smiled to myself and picked the scroll back up again.

I slowly moved my eyes back to the start of the scroll, scanning down through the description and hand-seals, all the way down to the section on chakra control required for the Jutsu. I read over the section slowly, again and again. After awhile I had memorized the entire section. Alright, so I just need to do that same as last time, reach out and get a small amount of chakra, then send it over my body. But, then i need to send more out into the opponent for the tree illusion. After I was sure I knew what to do, I gathered a small portion of chakra, sent it into my mind and then down through my body. I then quickly grabbed another portion of chakra and quickly sent it out from my body as I would have to do whilst performing the Jutsu.

Alright, Iv got it all, now I just need a test subject.
Thinking this I slowly began to walk over to the main road that was running past the small training area, just outside through the trees. I quickly got up and jogged out there to see a man abit shorter then me but he looked older, He had a neat beard, long black hair and was wearing an Otogakure Waist-Band with a Chunnin markings on it. I called out to beacon him over, 'Oi, Come gimmie a hand'. Again, this man didn't speak; he simply nodded and followed me over through the roads back down through the trees into my secluded training area.

As we entered the field I walked with the man over to one said and told him to simply stand there, I then walked over slowly to the other side of the field, thinking as I went, This guy isn't Genin like last time, I may actually have to worry about using this for the first time on him. Ohwell, I guess I need to give it a shot. I made it over to the other side of the field before turning back to face him again, I did this slowly, being overly cautious not to make any stupid mistakes in my speech of movements. 'Alright, when I say commence, just try to kill me', I yelled out to him. He stood there in a state that seemed to be of shock until him finally, after several minutes, nodded slowly at me and crouched into a combat position. I smiled at him and took a deep breath.

I thought back to the scroll and over every part of the entire thing. Alright, So I need to start by sending my hands into those damn seals, whilst doing that I need to spread my chakra over my body and send it out to him on the last of the seals. Then i need to get close to him and a tree with sprout and bind him, when that happens, I can kill him. This should be easy, he's just another Chunnin, you can take him. I took another deep breath and lowered my body down lower to the ground, centering myself and lowering my body’s center of gravity so I could keep a better balance. I looked up at him, looking him dead in the eyes, I slowly opened my mouth and uttered one word, 'Commence'.

I took a deep breath, I slowly moved my hands up into seals, Going over each one of them in my mind as I went. As I did this I saw a quick flash, Probably a Kanton Jutsu from my opponent. I quickly rolled to the left out of the way of it as I finished up the Hand seals. As I did this I had already sent my chakra flowing through my system and It was already sent out at him. I Completed the final hand seal, As I was completing it I saw my opponent running at me. The moment the seal was finished, he stopped dead. He looked around him, confused, I was invisible. I smiled and got up and walked quickly to the left. He walked slowly to were I once was until he was a meter from me, Apparently this was close enough because suddenly his body locked into one place, as if held by a tree.

I smiled as I saw him there, paralyzed. I looked deep into his eyes, not that he knew I was. But Watching the pure terror, I enjoyed it. I quickly sent a kunai out to my hand and gentle pressed it too his throat, then I released the Jutsu. He feel forward silently, but only enough to feel the pressure of the kunai. He stopped dead and looked up at me shocked, fear in his eyes. 'You are weak', the last three words he ever heard. I quickly slashed the Kunai deep into his neck, slicing the arteries and his windpipe along with the vocal cords so he couldn't scream. He died almost instantly and his corpse dropped to the floor next too me. Using my foot I rolled the corpse over to the edge of the woods were by chance, a bear came and took it away.... I then walked back over to the rock and sat down on it.

I smiled to myself quietly, I always enjoyed the feeling of flesh ripping by my hand. I bent over and washed the blood off the kunai, in the lake. i then sat back up too full height and put the kunai away in my pouch. I smirked to myself as I just realized, Hey, the Jutsu work. I leant back across the rock, lying down on it fully, basking in the gentle sun on my body. I knew it was odd, but I enjoyed killing those I viewed as unworthy or weak, My family is safe, Other's are expendable, My motto that I thought constantly over and over in my head. I was pleased, I had mastered another A-Rank Jutsu, I was getting stronger.
